Our Story
The French Pastry Shop has been a beloved Santa Fe institution since 1974, nestled inside the historic La Fonda Hotel on the Plaza. For over five decades, we have been waking up the city with the aroma of freshly baked croissants, rich espresso, and handcrafted crêpes. George and Nancy Zadeyan both natives from France moved to Santa Fe in 1974 to start The French Pastry Shop. They were one of the first in Santa Fe to serve croissants, pastries and crepes. George and Nancy's main focus was providing consistency in their food and outstanding customer service. This family owned restaurant was passed down to their sons Sarkis and Yannik Zadeyan who are dedicated in providing the same quality of food and service to their customers. We hope to serve you for many years to come.
